I was on crutches for six weeks following a multiple metatarsal fracture. The crutch tote was a God-send. It has two pockets - the upper one is good for bottled water, a can of soda, magazines, newspaper, a pair of larage scissors or a self-contained snack. The lower pocket is the same width, but slightly shorter than the upper. Good for bottled water, a piece of fruit, a pair of socks, a packet of gum. It is impossible to carry anything when you are using crutches. This product gave me a tremendous amount of independence. It is made from a sturdy, washable, denim fabric and is easy to affix to the crutch. I got all sorts of comments on this product! If you need to be on crutches for any length of time and you live alone, I might recommend buying two. I ordered this product with standard shipping and it arrived in two days.

After I broke my leg, I quickly discovered how difficult everyday tasks became. Carrying anything while on crutches was very difficult. I bought one of these for each crutch, and now I can carry quite a bit. The large top pocket easily holds a bottle of water or travel coffee mug. I use these for carrying many different small items.

I am on crutches for 3 months and the crutch tote has been great! Both pockets make it possible to carry alot of stuff around, both in and out of the house. I put my coffee in a thermos with a handle and I can carry it around indoors. The velcro holds tight and I have probably carried about 10 pounds around in it at one time - remote controls, phones, shampoo bottles, icepacks, water bottles, fruit, books, you name it! When I can drive again it'll fit my wallet, keys, a water bottle, sunglasses, phone, and some cosmetics all at the same time.
